Factors Influencing Hepatitis C Viral Infections in the Population of Algamosi Locality, Gezira State, Central Sudan

Hepatitis C (HCV) remains a global health challenge and is transmitted via contact with contaminated blood body fluids. This study aimed To find the factors influencing hepatitis c viral infections to identify its prevalence among populations of Algamosi area, Gezira state central Sudan. cross-sectional community-based was conducted. A total 492 participants were randomly selected from 4 villages interviewed out that lead transmission infection tested for markers infection. ELISA confirmed all positive card tests. The results showed individuals within age groups > 45 31 - years are more affected by HCV percentage 3.37% 0.6% respectively, while 15 30 p 2 = 14.588 value 0.001) concluded viruses only detected in three areas. explored many possible causes associated hepatitis, tattooing common cause virus. Based on finding recommends, crucial intervention program screen most population who have been not screened HCV, proper treatment education strongly recommended create awareness general population.
